I saw this EunHae fanvideo, and had to write something, lol. Also, to Happy Days; With You readers, let's just say this should make up for the lack of EunHae skinship in the next chapter. I'm terribly sorry, but the story must go on, haha. ^ ^ Alright. Please read and enjoy!! ^ ^ /
P.S. Happy Birthday, Teukie Teukie Angel!
Eunhyuk leaned against the sink, sipping a carton of strawberry milk. Damn, it was delicious. His favorite drink. He closed his eyes and savored the creamy strawberry sweetness. It was eight am, and a beautiful sunny day, the kind of day that strawberries would grow well in and produce high quality flavoring for milk.
He laughed. He was really overdoing it, he thought, thinking about strawberries growing for the sake of milk. He bent the straw and looked out the window. It was still cool outside; the heat of summer would soon wash over Korea and strawberries would grow all over the country.
Donghae peered around the corner of the doorframe of their bedroom, rubbing his eyes. “Hyukjae,” he moaned. “Where’d you go?”
Eunhyuk smiled and extended a hand towards Donghae. Donghae stumbled forward and leaned against Eunhyuk. Eunhyuk laughed softly at how sleepy he was and put his arm around his neck as Donghae put his head on Eunhyuk’s shoulder. Eunhyuk tried to take another sip of the milk, but Donghae’s hand flew up and snatched the carton from him.
Donghae took a step back and held up the carton, giving him a hurt expression. “You left me for this?"
Eunhyuk covered his mouth and laughed. “I want to wake up with you,” Donghae whined. “But look at this...you wouldn’t because you wanted to drink milk!”
“Strawberry milk,” Eunhyuk corrected him affectionately, holding up a finger and trying to hide his amused smile.
“Who do you like better, me or the milk?” Donghae shook the carton.
“Hyukjae!” Donghae whacked his shoulder. “That’s not funny!”
“You know who...what I like better, Donghae,” Eunhyuk said, reaching for the milk.
“It’s me, isn’t it?” Donghae held the milk out of Eunhyuk’s reach. “It has to be me.”
“Why would it be you? You don’t taste like strawberry delight.”
“You seriously like a carton of artificial flavors and milk better than me?!”
Eunhyuk laughed again. “It isn’t funny, Hyukjae! I missed you. ‘Where did he go?’ I thought! And you’re out here cheating on me with milk!”
“I stayed with you all night!”
“I wanted to wake up and see you!”
“Now you have seen me. I’m right here.”
Donghae narrowed his eyes. “That isn’t what I meant, and you know it. I wanted…”
Eunhyuk stepped forward, linked his fingers with Donghae’s, and kissed him. Donghae hesitated, then kissed him back and Eunhyuk slipped the milk out of Donghae’s relaxed hold. “Yah!” Donghae exclaimed and shoved him lightly. Eunhyuk smiled smugly.
“What’s the matter wi-”
Eunhyuk broke him off by sticking the straw into his open mouth. Donghae glared at him for a few seconds and then sucked on the straw. His expression changed immediately.
“Wow, that’s really tasty.”
Eunhyuk hugged him with one arm, shaking with laughter. “Right? It’s good, isn’t it?”
“It’s delicious,” Donghae said, drinking the last of it. “A-ah...I forgive you. But just this once, okay? Next time let’s have it together, after we both wake up…”
“Come on,” Eunhyuk smiled and set the empty carton down on the table. He pulled him into their room and pushed him down onto the bed, kissing him. Donghae curled a hand around Eunhyuk’s neck and closed his eyes. They rolled over onto their sides and Eunhyuk stroked Donghae’s face.
“Go to sleep.” He kissed Donghae’s cheek. “And we’ll redo the morning…”
