Part: Chapter One: Nice To See You
Previous Parts: Prologue
Pairing: Eunhyuk/Donghae, some Yesung/Ryeowook, Henry/Ryeowook.
Rating: PG-13 (sensuality)
Note: I am writing this based off of the assumption that Eunhyuk and Donghae are already very close.
Also, dorms are based off of a show in December, 2008, where a couple of women toured Super Junior's dorm.
PLEASE READ: About the frequency of updates: I have to take my college entrance exams in a few weeks here, so I will not be updating Happy Days; With You until after June 13th. The next update will be on Saturday, June 20, and will be a regular weekly update after that.

Chapter One: Nice To See You
Someone gently shook Donghae awake. Rubbing his eyes briefly, his vision cleared enough for him to see Ryeowook looking at him, almost equally as sleepy.
“C’mon, let’s go,” he said, turning away and stumbling out of the car. Donghae fumbled around the seat until he found his messenger bag, and then followed him out of the car. He mumbled his thanks to their manager and then yawned, walking to the back of the car to get his suitcase. He pulled it out and rolled it towards the entrance.
He trudged in and up the stairs, faintly aware that Ryeowook and Hangeng were laughing softly over something. Whatever. It was way too early to find much of anything funny. Donghae blearily looked at his watch. 3:28, it read, illuminating his face with an annoyingly bright blue light. He yawned.
They reached the first dorm, where Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, and Manager-hyung lived with Yesung, Kangin, and Eunhyuk. Hangeng and he said goodnight to them as Manager-hyung stealthily unlocked the door.
Donghae paused a fraction of a second, looking at the dorm inside. It was all dark. Eunhyuk must be sleeping. He looked at Hangeng.
“You have the keys, right?”
“Nn,” he nodded and began climbing the stairs up to the dorm that they shared with Heechul, Shindong, and Eeteuk. When they were halfway up and Donghae was tired of carrying his suitcase, it occurred to him that they could have taken the elevator. He mentally smacked his forehead.
They reached the landing and rolled their suitcases to the door. Hangeng pulled out the keys and unlocked the door. Home was that much closer as Hangeng pushed the door open and carefully lifted his suitcase over the threshold.
They slipped off their shoes and Hangeng waved once to Donghae. Donghae nodded goodnight and Hangeng left for his own room that he shared with Heechul. Heechul would probably be waiting up for him, he thought, as he carried his suitcase towards his own room.
With one hand he opened his door and walked in sideways, mindful of the doorframe. He set the suitcase down, switching on the light as he did so.
He was lucky enough to get this room all to himself. It was smaller than the others in the dorm, but still a very comfortable size. In it he kept all of his precious possessions: gifts from fans and family members, photographs, and the trinkets he’d amassed during his travels throughout Asia.
Donghae’s eyes wandered to his bed and he froze. Eunhyuk was lying curled into a ball on top of his bed. His heart skipped a beat, surprised, and oddly delighted.
You idiot, he thought, you’ll catch a cold like that. He took off his messenger bag and laid it on the floor, walking over to the bed.
Eunhyuk was sleeping like a child, his hands curled near his face, snuggled into one of Donghae’s pillows. The soft angles of his face were relaxed in sleep, making him seem even more gentle.
Donghae almost felt like crying. Eunhyuk had come up to his room to wait for him?
He didn’t think he would. But that was foolish, he reflected. It would’ve been alright to anticipate this, too.
He stood there for a few minutes, enjoying seeing Eunhyuk with his own eyes again. Then he knelt down and gently shook his shoulder.
Eunhyuk opened his eyes and blinked a few times. He looked at Donghae through his fingers, then laughed quietly. Donghae grinned, laughing with him for no reason.
“Donghae!” he said, sitting up and hugging him around his neck. “Welcome back,” he said in a low voice. Donghae hugged him back, his heart beating that much more quickly.
Donghae smiled into Eunhyuk’s shoulder. “I’m back,” he said in a muffled voice.
“Nn,” Eunhyuk lowered his head to rest on Donghae’s shoulder.
They stayed like that for a while, both of them content to hold the other. Then Eunhyuk kissed him quickly on the cheek and they let go of each other.
Donghae crawled up onto the bed and sat down, his back leaning against the wall. Eunhyuk readjusted himself so that he was facing him.
“It’s nice to see you,” Donghae said, looking at his knees and smoothing out his sweatpants.
Eunhyuk laughed. “I missed you,” he said.
His throat constricted and his vision blurred. No good, he thought. He really was going to start crying. He quickly rubbed his eyes. It didn’t help, and a small sob forced itself out of his throat.
“Yah,” Eunhyuk said softly, moving closer to Donghae and prying his hands away from his face.
“Why are you crying?” he said, although there wasn’t much of a question in his voice. He was so in tune with Donghae’s emotions that he didn’t need to ask. He wiped his tears away with his thumb while Donghae bit his lip and quietly cried.
He was too tired to think about what he was feeling. Instead, he just felt. Happiness and relief were what he most immediately felt. So stop crying, already, he thought. He sniffed and rubbed his eyes quickly.
“Sorry,” he said so quietly it was almost a whisper. He met Eunhyuk’s eyes again, and the tears did stop.
Eunhyuk shook his head. He gently touched the dark circles underneath Donghae’s eyes.
“You really need to sleep,” he said, poking Donghae in the center of his cheek, “When was the last time you slept?”
“It’s been a while,” he replied, half-smiling. He did need sleep.
“Can I stay here?” Eunhyuk asked in a tone that suggested he already knew the answer.
Donghae nodded and leaned over to switch off the light. Eunhyuk pulled back the blankets and slipped underneath them. Donghae climbed over and joined him.
His head fell onto the pillows - how nice it was to be in his own bed again - and he gave a relaxed sigh. He pulled the comforter up so that it was covering both of them.
Eunhyuk snuggled in next to him and slung an arm across Donghae’s chest, his hand coming up to just touch Donghae’s hair.
Donghae closed his eyes and sighed again, sinking more deeply into the pillows. Almost involuntarily, Donghae’s arms encircled Eunhyuk as he fell asleep.
